"My oh my, don't you look like a flirty cutie ;P" ~Frenzy

So I made another 2-part collab with my good friend, :iconimagine-a-frenzy:. We made another team based on our Favorite Pokemon of Each Type Meme, but this time we used some Pokemon that were mentioned as runner-up favorites in the description.
My Types Meme can be found here: Favorite Types Meme by Call-Of-The-Indie

Our picks went as followed (with a description for each, since the Meme does not provide a reason for runner-ups):
1. Runner-up to our favorite Pokemon: (His: Sceptile. Mine: Milotic.)
-Milotic has always been a very gorgeous Pokemon to look at. I remember always longing to have one on my team back in RSE, but just never had the patience to fish for a Feebas. I didn't try it out until years after RSE (probably in the DPPt days), when my sister temporarily passed her Sapphire version down to me. Even though I had a Swampert in that game, it didn't stop me from trying to find one all over Route 119...until I finally found a tile full of them, and kept fishing for one that would love Blue Pokeblocks. I caught a Modest one eventually, and adored it to bits when it evolved. I wish I had remembered to transfer it to my newer games, because of course my sister took her game back and erased my file just to start a Nuzlocke (that she never finished, if I may add). I may have forgotten to do that, and have also gotten new Milotics since then, but I still remember my first Milotic fondly. If I hadn't gotten so attached to Feraligatr, she would probably take first place as my favorite Water type.

2. Runner-up Mega: (His: Tyranitar. Mine: Ampharos.)
-I may have started with Silver, but I didn't always have an Ampharos on my team. In fact, back in those days, I was a noob at Pokemon, and didn't completely understand evolution. I didn't have a lot of patience for most level-up evolutions (especially evolutions after any 1st evolved forms), and unfortunately my Flaaffys seemed to always suffer from that impatience. However, my reason for liking Ampharos out of all other Electric types is because of my favorite gym leader of all time, Jasmine; she has an Ampharos that we have to tend to in-game. Since I liked Jasmine, I also liked Ampharos by association. It wasn't until I got my own copy of Gold (sometime in the RSE days) that I started taking Ampharos seriously as a teammate, and by Heartgold, I made sure to have one. Most Electric types are known for their speed, but I like that Ampharos leans towards defense, making it incredibly useful on many teams. Also....Did you know? Mega Ampharos' Dragon typing comes directly from its Japanese name, Denryu, because the word "ryu" in its name can mean "dragon" ;)

3. Runner-up unevolved Pokemon: (His: Mudkip. Mine: Sneasel.)
-Sneasel has always stood out to me so much, because of good ol' rival Douchenozzle...I mean, Silver. It always baffled me how he has a Sneasel waaaay before we can even access Mt. Silver, and it always made me want to have one before that point. I may have tried out Weavile once before, but I prefer Sneasel over Weavile.

4. Runner-up underrated Pokemon: (His: Mightyena. Mine: Aromatisse.)
-I actually did want Aromatisse back when CoroCoro was leaking information on X and Y. When I first saw Spritzee, I wanted it to be my first Fairy for my team. Then I found out that Spritzee's evolution doesn't gain the Flying type upon evolving, but I still wanted it on my team. Then it was revealed to be a Y exclusive, when I had picked X solely because of Xerneas. Even still, I was determined that one of my friends would come through and send me a Spritzee for my playthrough team. In a meantime, I settled for Flabebe and hoped to eventually have one...but it never happened until after the League. If it hadn't been for my playthrough Florges, Aromatisse would definitely be #1. Why do I think she's underrated? Well, I think a lot of people believe that it's ugly and has a ridiculous concept, but that never stopped me from wanting to have one. As weird as it seems to some, it really is a charming Pokemon to me.

5. Runner-up owned by Ash: (His: Tauros. Mine: Hawlucha.)
-I adore Hawlucha to bits, I kid you not. When it was first leaked, I just had to have one on my playthrough team. I mean, it's as Mexican as it can get, and being Mexican myself, it made a big impression on me. The luchador concept may only apply to Mexico City, but I have a deeply rooted association with Lucha Libre, making Hawlucha a big deal for me in particular. Of course, to uphold those roots, I named my Hawlucha after one of the most famous Luchadores in Mexican history - Santo. My little Santo may be frail, but that doesn't make him any less of a champion to me. And yet, this Hawlucha here is a female...

6. Shared Runner-up: (Both: Flygon.)
-I've always appreciated Flygon due to how it easy it is to raise one, from the Trapinch stage. Also, I've always liked its dragonfly concept, because it's taken so literally; but that's what makes it so cool to me. I've always had one on my team since the very beginning, and like many others, i wish this little guy had a Mega to be on the same ranks as its some of its other Dragon brethren...most of which are already scary good without their Megas.

As a bonus, one Pokemon on each team is shiny to show our favorite Shiny coloration among the 6 in our teams.
This time around, we switched teams, so we have our own instead of each other's. He loves himself...err, the way I draw him that much. ;P Aaaaand I also had to change outfits for this, since the dress I'm wearing in our previous collab recently went missing while on a flight :/
Ice is my favorite type, hence the snowflake. Also, purple is my favorite color :>

Lineart, backdrop, and final touches were done by me.
Coloring and shading was done by Imagine-A-Frenzy.
